I want a wedding in Spanish.
I am bilingual. I am happy to create any ceremony you want in either English, Spanish, or both.
Soy bilingüe. Me complace crear cualquier ceremonia que desee en inglés, español o ambos.
How do I guarantee you can do my ceremony?
Your payment in full holds your date and I stop taking wedding requests from other couples. This payment is not refundable because I stop accepting other couples on your date, and I start working on your ceremony immediately. However, if some issue forces a total cancellation of your ceremony, I will refund 50% of the full payment you made. If you are forced to change your wedding date and or time, as long as I am available for the rescheduled ceremony, there will be no additional charges, unless the new venue is farther away. If you find a different officiant, or for example, you find out that a relative of yours is ordained and wish them to perform the ceremony, there will not be a refund
I suggest that you pay me using PayPal because it is instantaneous and assures that your wedding date is reserved immediately.
It is very simple to use PayPal and you do not need an account. Go to the “Payment” link at the top of this page, and follow the instructions.
I thank you very much for sharing your special day and entrusting it to me. I will do my best to justify your faith.

Can we meet with you before hiring you?
How much do I have to pay to get started?
Because of the nature of this work, I require your payment in full to hold the date and to start creating your ceremony. 50% of this deposit is not refundable because I stop accepting other couples on your date, and I start working on your ceremony immediately. See above for more details.

Miscellaneous
As a Wedding Officiant what is your biggest "pet peeve"
The first is couples who do not reply or acknowledge the messages I send them.
The second is couples who change the time of the wedding and do not ask me if I can accommodate the change.
I perform about 75 to 100 weddings each year. In order to do that many weddings, I have a system that I follow so that I do all your work as quickly and efficiently as possible. So, when I send off a question or any material to my couples it helps immensely if they reply back quickly. That way I know they know what I need to make their ceremony perfect, and I can move on to the next couple. Too often I email couples and get nothing back – that is frustrating. The second pet peeve is similarly based. If you tell me your wedding is at 5 pm I then plan my day around being at your wedding venue early to meet with you, to meet with your music people, to talk to your wedding coordinator [if you have one], and to finish your wedding license paperwork. I will also schedule other activities for other couples or for myself personally after or before your ceremony. If you change the time on me, it could be a major problem. Imagine how you would feel if I was late to your wedding! My telling you that another couple changed their time will not make it all better for you.
